October Controller's Council - Mergers and Acquisitions

Our next Controller's Council meeting will feature Peter Schuster, Director Of Finance And Administration at Innovega Inc.speaking on Mergers and Acquisitions.

Peter Schuster is a financial executive, who is a specialist in mergers & acquisitions and has developed expertise in a variety of financial disciplines during his career. He held several corporate development roles at Leidos (NYSE: LDOS) and its predecessor Company SAIC (NYSE:SAIC) during his 16 year tenure there. He served as Vice President of M&A at Leidos (NYSE:LDOS) since the creation of the Company in 2013 until 2017. He was responsible for all elements of the Leidos M&A program including acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures and minority investments. Peter closed over 25 transactions ranging in size from $2 Million to $750 Million during his tenure at Leidos and SAIC.

During 2017, Peter became Director of Finance and Administration of Innovega Inc., a developer of a cutting-edge product to view augmented and virtual reality through a combination of stylish glasses and contact lenses. Peter also teaches a Mergers & Acquisition course at University of San Diego.

Peter is a CPA and a has a B.S. in Accountancy from Villanova University.
